Troubleshooting Slow or Unresponsive Performance in Latitude
Latitude occasionally needs a few seconds to generate content, save your work, or load account data. A brief delay does not always indicate that something is wrong. This article explains what normal performance looks like, how to resolve common browser or session issues, and when to contact Latitude Support.

Start with These Quick Fixes
Most temporary performance problems can be resolved by refreshing your browser session.
Try these steps in order:
Refresh the page.
Wait a few seconds and try the action again.
Sign out of Latitude and sign back in.
Close the Latitude tab and reopen it.
Open Latitude in a private or incognito window.
Try a different supported browser.
If Latitude works in a private window or another browser, the issue may be related to your browser cache, an extension, or an outdated session.
Perform a Hard Refresh
A hard refresh reloads the page without relying on previously stored browser files.
On Windows, press Ctrl + Shift + R.
On a Mac, press Command + Shift + R.
You may need to sign back in after refreshing or clearing your browser data.
Understand Normal Processing Times
Some actions take longer because Latitude is generating content or saving information in the background.
AI Content Generation
AI-generated content will not always appear instantly. Under normal conditions, generation may take several seconds to complete.
The amount of time can vary depending on the type of content being created and the amount of information Latitude needs to process.
Avoid repeatedly selecting the generation button while the first request is still processing. This can create duplicate requests or make it harder to determine whether the original request completed.
Saving Your Content Strategy
Moving between Content Strategy steps may take approximately five to eight seconds because Latitude saves your information before loading the next step.
Wait for the save to complete before refreshing the page or closing the tab.
Loading Pages and the Scheduler
Most Latitude pages should load within a few seconds under normal conditions. The Scheduler may take slightly longer when it is loading a large amount of content or information from several connected accounts.
A page that remains blank, stops responding, or continues loading indefinitely is not expected behavior.
Identify Where the Problem Is Happening
Knowing which action is slow or unresponsive will help you choose the right troubleshooting steps.
A Page Will Not Load
Try refreshing the page and reopening Latitude in a private or incognito window.
If only one page is affected, confirm whether other areas of Latitude are loading normally. This helps determine whether the issue affects your entire session or one specific feature.
A Button or Action Does Not Respond
Wait several seconds to make sure the previous request is not still processing. Then refresh the page and try the action again.
If the issue continues, sign out and back in to reset your Latitude session.
AI Generation Does Not Finish
If content generation continues indefinitely or produces an error:
Wait briefly to confirm the request has not simply been delayed.
Refresh the page.
Return to the content and try generating it again.
Try a private or incognito window.
Contact Support if repeated generation attempts continue to fail.
Copy any important text before refreshing so you do not lose unsaved changes.
Saving Does Not Finish
If Latitude remains on a saving screen:
Give the save several seconds to complete.
Avoid clicking the save or navigation controls repeatedly.
Refresh the page if the action remains stuck.
Reopen the affected content and confirm whether your changes were saved.
Check Your Browser and Device
Latitude works best on a supported desktop browser.
Supported Browsers
For the best experience, use a current version of:
Google Chrome
Microsoft Edge
Safari
Keeping your browser updated helps prevent compatibility and performance problems.
Browser Extensions and Stored Data
Privacy tools, ad blockers, security extensions, and outdated browser data can sometimes interfere with web applications.
Try Latitude in a private or incognito window. If the issue disappears, disable browser extensions one at a time or clear the stored site data for Latitude before trying again.
Clearing site data will usually sign you out.
Mobile Devices
Latitude may be accessible from a mobile browser, but mobile devices are not currently fully supported.
If something is slow, missing, or difficult to use on mobile, repeat the action from a supported desktop browser.
Check Your Internet Connection
A weak or unstable internet connection can cause pages to load slowly, saves to stall, or generation requests to time out.
Confirm that other websites are loading normally. If possible, try another network or temporarily disconnect from a VPN before testing Latitude again.
Do not disconnect from a VPN when your employer or organization requires it for security.
When to Contact Support
Contact Latitude Support when:
A page repeatedly remains blank or never finishes loading.
AI generation consistently times out or produces an error.
Your changes repeatedly fail to save.
Buttons or controls remain unresponsive after refreshing.
The same problem occurs in multiple supported browsers.
Something appears broken rather than temporarily slow.
When contacting Support, include:
The Latitude page or feature affected
What you were trying to do
What happened instead
The approximate date and time of the issue
Your browser and device
A screenshot or screen recording
Any error message displayed
The troubleshooting steps you already tried
These details will help the Latitude team investigate the problem more quickly.
