Additional LinkedIn account connections are available only on certain Latitude plans. For information about inviting coworkers, assigning seats, or sharing account access, see Managing Team Seats and Account Access in Latitude.
Before You Add Another Account
Before connecting another LinkedIn profile, confirm that your Latitude plan includes an available account connection.
Check Your Plan Limit
The number of LinkedIn accounts you can connect depends on your Latitude plan.
If your plan does not support additional accounts, or you have already used all available account connections, contact Latitude Sales to discuss upgrading your plan or increasing your account capacity.
Additional LinkedIn account connections and Latitude user seats are licensed separately. Adding an account connection does not add another person to your workspace.
Sign Out of LinkedIn
LinkedIn normally authorizes whichever account is currently signed in through your browser.
Before adding another profile:
Open LinkedIn in your browser.
Sign out of the currently active account.
Return to Latitude.
Begin the account connection process.
Sign in using the credentials for the account you want to add.
This helps prevent LinkedIn from reconnecting an account that is already in your workspace.
Add Another LinkedIn Account
To connect an additional personal LinkedIn profile:
Open Accounts in Latitude.
Select Add Account.
Sign in to the LinkedIn account you want to connect.
Review the permissions requested by LinkedIn.
Select Allow.
Return to Latitude.
Confirm that the account appears on the Accounts page.
Each connected LinkedIn profile appears as a separate account in Latitude.
Company Pages are added through the personal LinkedIn account that manages them. For instructions, see How do I add my Company Page?.
Switch Between Connected Accounts
When multiple LinkedIn profiles are connected, use the account selector to choose which account you are currently managing.
The selected account determines which profile you are creating, scheduling, or reviewing content for.
Before creating or publishing a post:
Open the account selector.
Choose the correct LinkedIn profile.
Confirm the account name and profile image.
Continue creating or scheduling your content.
Always verify the selected account before publishing.
Fix Common Connection Problems
The Wrong LinkedIn Account Opens
LinkedIn may automatically open the profile currently signed in through your browser.
To connect a different account:
Cancel the authorization process.
Sign out of LinkedIn.
Return to Latitude.
Select Add Account again.
Sign in using the correct LinkedIn credentials.
Approve the requested permissions.
You can also try the connection from a private or incognito browser window.
The Same Account Keeps Reconnecting
This usually means your browser still has an active LinkedIn session.
Sign out of LinkedIn completely before restarting the connection. If the problem continues:
Close all LinkedIn tabs.
Open a private or incognito window.
Sign in to Latitude.
Select Add Account.
Sign in to the new LinkedIn profile.
The Account Is Already Connected Elsewhere
A LinkedIn profile can only be connected to one Latitude workspace at a time.
If Latitude says the account is already connected, it may be associated with:
A previous Latitude workspace.
Another company or agency workspace.
A Latitude account created using a different email address.
Contact Latitude Support if you need help locating or removing the existing connection.
You Have Reached Your Account Limit
If Add Account is unavailable or Latitude displays a licensing message, your workspace may have reached its account limit.
Contact Latitude Sales to:
Upgrade to a plan that supports multiple LinkedIn accounts.
Add more account connections.
Review which plan best fits the number of profiles you manage.
The Account Does Not Appear After Authorization
If you approved the LinkedIn connection but the account does not appear:
Refresh the Accounts page.
Confirm that you selected Allow during authorization.
Check whether the account is already connected elsewhere.
Confirm that your plan has an available account connection.
Try again from a private or incognito browser window.
