How to Disconnect LinkedIn or Revoke Latitude’s Access
You can stop Latitude from accessing a LinkedIn account by disconnecting it in Latitude or revoking the connection through LinkedIn. These actions stop future publishing and data collection, but they do not automatically delete information already stored in Latitude. To permanently delete your Latitude data, contact Latitude Support.

Before You Disconnect
Disconnecting a LinkedIn account affects publishing, scheduled content, analytics, and any Company Pages associated with that connection.
Review Scheduled Posts
Before disconnecting an account, review any posts currently scheduled for it.
Posts scheduled for a disconnected account will not be able to publish. You may want to:
Publish the posts before disconnecting
Move them to another connected account
Save copies of the content
Cancel or remove them from the schedule
Export Analytics You Want to Keep
You can export available analytics from the Analytics tab as a CSV file.
Download any data you want to keep before disconnecting the account or requesting deletion. Disconnecting does not necessarily remove existing analytics immediately, but Latitude may no longer be able to update them.
Disconnect an Account in Latitude
Disconnecting through Latitude removes the active connection from your Latitude workspace.
To disconnect an account:
Open Accounts in Latitude.
Find the LinkedIn profile you want to disconnect.
Open the account’s ••• actions menu.
Select Disconnect or Remove Account.
Review the warning and confirm the change.
Once disconnected, Latitude can no longer use that connection to publish new posts or retrieve updated account information.
Accounts Shared with Other Users
If the account is available to teammates or delegated users, disconnecting it also prevents those users from managing it through Latitude.
Review team assignments and delegated access before removing an account that other people use.
Connected Company Pages
LinkedIn Company Pages are connected through the personal LinkedIn profile that manages them.
Disconnecting that personal profile may also prevent Latitude from publishing to or updating the Company Pages connected through it.
Revoke Access Through LinkedIn
You can also remove Latitude’s authorization directly from your LinkedIn settings.
On LinkedIn desktop:
Select the Me icon at the top of LinkedIn.
Select Settings & Privacy.
Open Data privacy.
Find the Other applications section.
Open Permitted services.
Locate the Latitude connection.
Select Remove.
LinkedIn states that removing a permitted service prevents it from accessing new LinkedIn data. The service may still retain information it received before access was revoked.
Revoking Access on Mobile
In the LinkedIn mobile app:
Tap your profile picture.
Open Settings.
Select Data privacy.
Open Permitted services.
Select Remove beside the Latitude connection.
What Happens After You Disconnect
After the connection is removed:
Latitude can no longer publish new posts to that account.
Scheduled posts for the account cannot publish.
Analytics for the account stop updating.
Associated Company Pages may no longer be available.
Teammates and delegates can no longer use the connection.
You may need to reconnect the account before editing or rescheduling affected posts.
Your drafts, previously published content records, analytics history, and other workspace information may remain stored in Latitude.
Disconnecting Does Not Delete Your Data
Disconnecting LinkedIn and deleting Latitude data are separate actions.
Disconnecting an Account
Disconnecting stops Latitude from using the LinkedIn connection for future publishing and data retrieval.
It does not automatically delete:
Drafts
Scheduled post records
Published post records
Content Strategies
Previously collected analytics
Workspace information
Team or delegated-access records
Revoking Access Through LinkedIn
Removing Latitude from LinkedIn’s permitted services stops future access through that authorization.
It does not send Latitude a request to delete information already stored in its database. LinkedIn also notes that third-party applications may retain information collected before access was removed.
Requesting Permanent Deletion
To request permanent deletion of your Latitude data, contact Latitude Support.
Include:
The email address associated with your Latitude account
Your workspace name, if applicable
The LinkedIn accounts involved
Whether you want specific information or all associated data deleted
Whether you also want your Latitude account closed
Latitude may need to verify your identity or authority over a shared workspace before completing the request.
For more information, see How to Export or Delete Your Latitude Data.
Canceling Does Not Disconnect LinkedIn
Canceling your Latitude subscription stops future billing according to your subscription terms.
It does not necessarily:
Disconnect your LinkedIn account
Revoke Latitude through LinkedIn
Delete your Latitude account
Delete stored data
Complete each action separately based on what you want removed.
Reconnect a LinkedIn Account
You can reconnect an account later if you want to use it with Latitude again.
Open Accounts in Latitude.
Select Add Account.
Sign in to the correct LinkedIn profile.
Review the requested permissions.
Select Allow.
Return to Latitude and confirm that the account appears as connected.
LinkedIn may automatically authorize the profile currently signed in through your browser. Sign out of LinkedIn first when reconnecting a different account.
Re-enable Analytics
Analytics authorization is managed separately for each connected account.
After reconnecting:
Open Analytics.
Select the account.
Select Enable Analytics.
Complete the LinkedIn authorization process.
You may also need to sync any Company Pages managed through the reconnected profile.
Fix Common Disconnection Problems
The Disconnect Option Is Missing
If you cannot find the option to disconnect an account:
Confirm that you have permission to manage accounts in the workspace.
Check whether the account belongs to another workspace owner.
Ask a workspace administrator to remove the connection.
Contact Latitude Support if the option should be available.
You Revoked Access, but the Account Still Appears
Revoking access through LinkedIn may not immediately remove the account record from your Latitude workspace.
The account may remain visible but will no longer be able to publish or update data. Disconnect or remove it from the Accounts page as well.
Scheduled Posts Are Still on the Calendar
Disconnecting an account does not necessarily remove its existing posts from the Scheduler.
Review those posts and either remove them, save their content, or assign them to another eligible account.
You Reconnected the Wrong LinkedIn Profile
LinkedIn often uses the account currently signed in through your browser.
To reconnect the correct profile:
Disconnect the incorrect account.
Sign out of LinkedIn.
Return to Latitude.
Begin the connection again.
Sign in with the intended LinkedIn profile.
Approve the requested permissions.
Need Help?
Contact Latitude Support when:
You cannot disconnect an account.
An account remains active after access was revoked.
Scheduled posts are still attempting to publish.
A Company Page remains connected unexpectedly.
You want stored data permanently deleted.
You need help with a shared workspace or delegated account.
Include the affected LinkedIn account, your Latitude workspace, and a screenshot of what appears on the Accounts page.
