Why Your Post Didn’t Publish and How to Fix It
If a post did not appear on LinkedIn when you expected, first check its status in Latitude. Most publishing issues are caused by a post remaining in Draft, an incorrect scheduled time, an expired LinkedIn connection, or a failed publishing attempt.

Check the Post Status
Open the Scheduler and locate the post that did not publish.
Its status will help you determine what happened.
Draft
A Draft has been created or saved, but it has not been scheduled to publish.
Drafts may appear in Unscheduled Posts rather than on the calendar.
To schedule the post:
Drag it from Unscheduled Posts onto the calendar, or open the post directly.
Select a publication date and time.
Confirm that the correct LinkedIn account or Company Page is selected.
Save or schedule the post.
You should see a confirmation after the post has been successfully scheduled.
Scheduled
A Scheduled post is waiting to publish at its assigned date and time.
If the scheduled time has not arrived yet, confirm:
The publication date
The publication time
The selected LinkedIn account
The account’s posting timezone
The timezone associated with the selected account may be different from your personal timezone.
Failed
A Failed post is one that Latitude attempted to publish but could not successfully share to LinkedIn.
Open the post to review any available error information. You will need to fix the underlying issue and schedule the post again.
Latitude does not automatically retry a failed post.
Published
A Published post has been successfully shared through the selected LinkedIn account or Company Page.
If Latitude shows the post as Published but you cannot find it:
Confirm that you are viewing the correct LinkedIn profile or Company Page.
Refresh LinkedIn.
Check the publication time shown in Latitude.
Contact Latitude Support if the post still cannot be found.
Fix Common Publishing Problems
Reconnect Your LinkedIn Account
LinkedIn connections may occasionally expire or require renewed authorization.
Open Accounts and look for a Re-authenticate notice beside the affected account.
To reconnect:
Select Re-authenticate.
Sign in to the correct LinkedIn account.
Review the requested permissions.
Select Allow.
Return to Latitude and confirm that the account shows as connected.
LinkedIn may automatically use the profile currently signed in through your browser. Sign out of LinkedIn first if you need to authenticate a different account.
Reconnecting the account allows future scheduled posts to publish normally. Posts that already failed must be scheduled again.
Confirm the Posting Timezone
Each connected account can have its own posting timezone.
To review it:
Open Settings.
Go to Scheduling.
Find the affected account by selecting the correct account from the top right drop-down box.
Confirm its posting timezone.
Save any changes.
Return to the Scheduler and review the post’s scheduled time.
A post may be correctly scheduled but set to publish earlier or later than expected because of a timezone difference.
Confirm the Correct Account Is Selected
When multiple LinkedIn profiles or Company Pages are connected, make sure the post was scheduled for the intended account.
Open the post and confirm the account name before rescheduling it.
The post may have published successfully to another connected account even though it does not appear on the profile you initially checked.
Reschedule a Failed Post
After correcting the connection, timezone, or account selection:
Open the failed post.
Review the content and selected account.
Choose a new publication date and time.
Save or schedule the post again.
Confirm that it now appears as Scheduled.
Do not assume that correcting the original problem will automatically republish the post. A new publishing time must be assigned.
Still Not Publishing?
Before contacting Support, confirm that:
The post is Scheduled rather than saved as a Draft.
Its scheduled date and time have passed.
The correct LinkedIn account or Company Page is selected.
The posting timezone is correct.
The LinkedIn account is connected and does not require re-authentication.
Any previously failed post has been manually rescheduled.
If the post still does not publish, contact Latitude Support and include:
The affected LinkedIn account or Company Page
The date and time the post was expected to publish
The account’s posting timezone
A screenshot of the post’s status
Any error message shown in Latitude
Whether you already re-authenticated the LinkedIn connection
