Latitude gives you a clear view of how your LinkedIn content is performing over time. This article explains how to enable analytics, when your data updates, what each metric means, and what to check when your numbers do not look right.

Enable Analytics for Each Account

Analytics must be enabled separately for every connected account you want to track.

Enabling analytics for one account does not automatically enable analytics for your other LinkedIn profiles or Company Pages. If you manage multiple accounts in Latitude, switch to each account individually and enable analytics for it.

How to Enable Analytics

  1. Open Analytics in Latitude.

  2. Select the LinkedIn account or Company Page you want to view.

  3. Click Enable Analytics.

  4. Repeat these steps for every additional account you want to track.

Latitude will begin collecting analytics for that account after analytics have been enabled. Your data may not appear immediately because analytics update on a daily schedule.

When Analytics Update

Latitude analytics update once per day rather than in real time.

The Analytics page will show when the next update is expected. New posts and updated performance data may not appear until the next refresh is complete.

New Posts and Connections

It is normal for a newly published post to display zero activity or not appear immediately. Its analytics should become available after the next daily update.

The same applies when you first enable analytics or connect a new account. Latitude needs time to collect the account’s available data.

Understanding Your Analytics

Your dashboard summarizes content performance for the account and date range you have selected.

What Each Metric Means

Total Posts
The number of posts published during the selected timeframe.

Total Reactions
The total number of likes and other reactions received across your posts.

Total Reach
The number of people who saw your content.

Total Impressions
The total number of times your content was displayed.

Engagement Rate
A measurement of how frequently people interacted with your content compared with how often it was viewed.

All metrics refresh together during Latitude’s daily analytics update.

Selecting a Date Range

Your dashboard only includes posts and activity from the timeframe you select.

Make sure your selected date range includes the posts you expect to see. Older posts will not appear when they fall outside the selected range, and recently published posts may not show data until the next daily refresh.

Latitude may also be unable to retrieve analytics for older posts that fall outside its available data window.

Why Latitude and LinkedIn May Show Different Numbers

Latitude provides a consistent daily view of your performance, but its numbers may not always match LinkedIn exactly.

Differences can occur because:

  • LinkedIn may update some metrics in real time, while Latitude updates once per day.

  • The most recent LinkedIn activity may not have reached Latitude’s next refresh yet.

  • Available data may be limited by LinkedIn’s API.

  • Temporary account connection issues may delay an update.

For the most current, real-time numbers, compare your Latitude dashboard with the analytics shown directly on LinkedIn.

Troubleshooting Analytics

Most missing or unexpected analytics are caused by account settings, timing, or the selected date range.

Quick Checklist

Before contacting support, confirm that:

  • Analytics have been enabled for the specific account you are viewing.

  • You have enabled analytics separately for any other accounts you want to track.

  • The correct LinkedIn profile or Company Page is selected.

  • Your selected date range includes the posts you expect to see.

  • At least one full daily refresh has occurred since you enabled analytics, connected the account, or published the post.

  • The account is still connected to LinkedIn.

When to Contact Support

If your information still appears incorrect after a full daily refresh, contact Latitude Support. Include the affected LinkedIn account, the posts or metrics that appear to be missing, and the date range you selected so we can investigate.
